Events update:

Unfortunately, due to the current situation and the new guidelines promoted by the government, the series organisers have chosen to postpone the last seminar due to happen on the 25th March. For updates on this series, either check back on this page or sign up to our events mailing list.

The Futures in Progress series allows staff across the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science to introduce themselves, present their research in a relaxed setting and receive feedback on their work. It particularly supports showcasing the work of Early Career staff and staff members who have recently joined the University of Edinburgh and wish to create an opportunity for cross-university networking.

Everyone is welcome to attend. In support of Athena Swan, we have scheduled the formal part of the seminar in core working hours. Each event will conclude with informal networking and drinks.
