Beth Muir started working at the Edinburgh Futures Institute in October 2022, joining the newly formed Centre for Investing Innovation, a strategic partnership between global asset management company abrdn and the University of Edinburgh. In her role as administrator, Beth supports a variety of research and collaborative work through the Centre, including working with colleagues across the Edinburgh Futures Institute and Data + Design Lab team to deliver collaborative workshops for university researchers and abrdn.
Beth has previously worked in a number of schools in the university across the colleges in Teaching and Student Support, as well as the central Edinburgh University Research Office in Research Administration. With a broad range of experience across the university and engagement with external partners Beth continues to enjoy the variety and challenges brought about by the Centre’s role within the Edinburgh Futures Institute.
