Edinburgh Futures Institute is proud to announce our next cohort of Visiting Fellows for Academic Year (AY) 2025/2026.

The 6 awardees joining us from 6 different countries will take up their posts from September 2025 and will spend a period between 3 and 6 months at Edinburgh Futures Institute, sponsored by academic staff across 6 different schools.

Our visiting fellows bring expertise focused on our research themes of future infrastructure, ethics of AI, creative industries and digital humanities, the public sector, and financial services and fintech.

Visiting fellows will be able to take part in our seminars and events programmes, access our training courses, and interact with other academics affiliated with the Futures Institute, our partners from the business and third sector, and our students.

The scheme will help the fellows to develop their research in conversation with colleagues in Edinburgh, and will also allow Edinburgh Futures Institute and the wider University to foster new international collaborative links.
