Complex problems require teamwork, and key to our success is the way in which we partner with people, organisations and networks. Our teaching, research and engagement programmes will be co-designed and co-delivered with external partners.
We welcome partnerships at all different levels, including:
- Individual practitioners sharing their insights with students
- Organisations committing people and expertise to creating and delivering new and exciting courses
- sectors or supply chains coming together to set a shared research agenda, pooling resources, expertise and data
- Joint commercial activity with shared risk and reward

To realise our ambition for the Edinburgh Futures Institute we seek to partner with philanthropists, individual donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners who share our values and vision.
Philanthropy will play a vital role in transforming the Old Royal Infirmary into a state-of-the art teaching, research and public space, developing our innovative research and teaching programmes, and establishing scholarships to support talented students.

At the Edinburgh Futures Institute, we want to create world-changers. Through a variety of flexible and boundary-defying courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, executive and continuing development levels, we will produce curious and thoughtful graduates who can work effectively across different sectors.
Our graduates will not be bound by seeing the world through a single perspective, but will understand how different professional domains work and intersect.
