Screen Language offers accessibility and linguistic services for film and other creative products including multilingual subtitles, captions/descriptive subtitles, audio description, live captions and BSL interpreting. They collaborate with external bodies and universities to investigate the new frontiers of accessibility, aiming to improve equality, diversity and inclusion in the film sector. Their work so far includes translation, subtitling and audio description from independent award winning productions to mainstream online platforms, international film festivals, exhibitions and events as well as investigations on how to overcome the technical challenges associated with enhanced film access requirements.
