Douglas Graham leads the Engagement & Innovation team at Edinburgh Futures Institute. The purpose of the team is to support the Futures Institute in building a challenge-led portfolio of activity with demonstrable ethical, social, cultural, economic and environmental impact. The team is responsible for engaging with organisations across public, private and third sectors; framing and understanding key challenges and opportunities; developing programmes and propositions to address them; and supporting future-facing collaboration and co-creation across these sectors and our academic communities to drive impactful innovation ;
An experienced business development and engagement professional, with over a decade of experience of industry engagement in a university environment, Douglas has a track record of building multi-sector collaborations and partnerships that deliver impact.
He has a postgraduate degree in International Law from the University of Maastricht, and an LLB from the University of Glasgow.
