Ellen Saffrey Stuart

Research and Impact Manager

Ellen Saffrey Stuart works as Research and Impact Manager for The Binks Hub, a network of academic researchers, community members, practitioners and policy-makers using creativity and the arts to co-create research that makes a difference to people’s lives. Ellen is supporting the hub and its three academic Directors in planning and organising research, knowledge exchange and training activities, and promoting the outputs and outcomes of these activities to the wider public, with a focus on the impacts in the communities involved.

Prior to joining the Futures Institute Ellen worked for the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry, designing and conducting participatory research for the Let’s Be Heard project. Ellen worked for nine years at the London Museum, leading audience research and evaluation and supporting the development of participation strategies for the new London Museum and the Museum of London Docklands. Her research and evaluation work was preceded by marketing, fundraising, and events management roles in human rights charities and at the London Museum.
