Esther Mijers is a historian of Early Modern Scotland and the Wider World. She is one of the two Directors of Teaching at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, sharing this position with Simon Riley. Before she started at the Futures Institute, Esther held various teaching-related role in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh.
