Felicia Murray is the Senior Philanthropy Officer for Edinburgh Futures Institute, at the University of Edinburgh. She plays an important part in securing philanthropic support to help ensure the Institute’s most pressing priorities are as impactful as possible for the local and international community. Working within the University of Edinburgh’s Development and Alumni Team, she works closely with the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Edinburgh Futures Institute Directors and senior colleagues, and Academics to develop and maintain fundraising priorities and propositions for Edinburgh Futures Institute Initiatives and Education. Felicia sits on the University of Edinburgh’s Race Equality & Anti-Racist (REAR) Sub-Committee.
A skilled development professional, Felicia has worked across private and non-profit sectors in the United States and brings experience in major gift fundraising, anti-racist practices, and advancing initiatives around climate resilience and equity. She has a history of developing, monitoring, and articulating the value of fundraising strategy, and integrating the wisdom of colleagues and practitioners to test, improve, and expand fundraising success. Felicia believes in the power of philanthropy to build intergenerational wealth through education and is passionate about advancing equity, sustainability, and climate resilience to shape a better tomorrow.
