Iwona is based at the Data for Children Collaborative, a specialist unit at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, where she leads the development and implementation of the internal Responsible Innovation framework. Iwona is focused on embedding practical toolkits that enable the delivery of Data for Good projects. Before this role, Iwona supported the successful launch of the Centre for Technomoral Futures, where she led the website development and launch of events series for the Centre.

Iwona has experience in delivering effective communication methods. With her website and content design expertise, she brings a creative flair to her work while ensuring effective and accessible communication across various platforms. She has an academic background in Philosophy and Politics, with a particular interest in data ethics, the relationship between technology and society, and issues of social inequalities. She advocates for responsible innovation in support of delivering data projects that create lasting societal benefits.
