Kelly Ford is the Wellbeing Adviser for the Edinburgh Futures Institute and is part of the Student Wellbeing Service. The Student Wellbeing Service works collaboratively with colleagues across the University to provide proactive and reactive wellbeing support and is the University’s escalation point for students who need specialised emotional, health and pastoral support.

Kelly is a qualified Social Worker with experience working on Children and Families and Mental Health teams in Scotland. She also has experience as a practitioner on the Refugee Resettlement team at the City of Edinburgh Council. In recent years Kelly has been working in homeless accommodation services in Edinburgh including managing a women’s accommodation supporting those at risk of Gender-Based Violence.

Kelly holds a Bachelors in Social Work from Trinity College Dublin and a MSc Psychology of Mental Health from the University of Edinburgh.
