Siobhan leads strategy, planning and delivery for communications and marketing across the Edinburgh Futures Institute. She is responsible for providing strategic and operational advice and managerial support to the Director and Chief Operating Officer and leads a team which includes student recruitment marketing services, events programming and delivery, and brand, web and design. She works closely with colleagues and teams across the University to support EFI’s interdisciplinary and collaborative approach. Siobhan also supports the professional development of communications and marketing staff working for EFI.
A skilled marketing and communications professional, with over 17 years’ experience working in integrated, creative and brand agencies, content planning and stakeholder engagement. Siobhan has worked across the public and private sectors including legal, financial, education, health, sustainability and climate change. She has worked in Higher Education for over seven years and has a track record collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams. She has a degree in Philosophy and History of Art from the University of Binghamton and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
