Will Page, a proud Edinburgh native and University of Edinburgh alumnus, brings a wealth of experience as the former Chief Economist of Spotify and PRS for Music. His deep connection to the city and the University fuels his passion for contributing to EFI’s mission of bridging academia and technology.
Being part of the Institute allows Will to give back and help the University and city lead by example, at the intersection of academic thinking and technology. He aims to build bridges between academia and the tech industry, exemplified by his idea of using Spotify to explore the National Library of Scotland’s audio archives. He is focused on fostering private sector investments for public good and enhancing the Futures Institute’s innovative ecosystem.
“Edinburgh is my home, indeed I was born in the building that the Futures Institute now occupies. Being part of the Institute is a unique way to leverage my extensive industry experience to benefit the academic and technological landscape of my hometown.”
