The newly launched Inspace City Screen, will host ‘Data Lates’, Two late-night exhibitions projected onto Potterow, at the University of Edinburgh.
Dave Murray-Rust, Director of Inspace, commented:
“Inspace is delighted to host Data Lates as part of the Design Informatics’ Data Play festival.
We’re particularly pleased to include ‘Preternatural’, an exhibition of Jake Elwes’ work and includes the world premiere of his new work ‘Zizi’.
Curated by Drew Hemment, this exhibition represents an exciting new group and strand of research at the Edinburgh Futures Institute under the theme of ‘Experiential AI.’
We’re also grabbing this opportunity to showcase the cutting-edge work of local creative companies and designers, featuring Ray Interactive, Brightside Studios, Pip Thornton, Asad Kahn, Patricia Wu Wu and Tef Dara.
Our audience will also be invited to step into the future through a pavilion designed by Biomorphis architects, featuring a range of objects and experiences.
I’d like to thank the Edinburgh Futures Institute, Data Lab and Creative Informatics for supporting this project.”
