The Scottish Collaboration for Public Health Research and Policy (SCPHRP) work with public, policy makers and others to undertake co-production, intervention development and pragmatic evaluation on topics related to reducing inequalities and improving the health of the public in Scotland and worldwide.

“For nearly 20 years SCPHRP have been bringing together researchers and research users to undertake research that influences policy and contributes to the improvement of the health of the public.  We have collaborated with Public Health Scotland and Police Scotland for many years and are delighted to continue these relationships within the Scottish Prevention Hub.  Society is increasingly recognising the relationships between public health priorities and wider societal issues, such as climate change and obesity, or social media and loneliness.  Subsequently, we are delighted to be based at Edinburgh Futures Institute where we can work alongside researchers, practitioners and policy makers from diverse fields to address the challenges to our future.”
