EFI Events and Coronavirus planning

In this article

EFI events over the next few weeks have now been cancelled due to the latest advice on the Coronavirus virus.

Our ethos is to be outward-facing and open – welcoming engagement and collaboration across the University, across local and global communities and with our partners. We run many public events and regularly engage in forums and meetings that bring people together. Recent news and advice regarding the Coronavirus (Covid 19) has caused us to cancel or postpone many of our public activities.

EFI events over the next few weeks have now been cancelled due to the latest advice on the Coronavirus virus. We are also reviewing the months of April and May as well as our longer planning calendar with an aim to reschedule planned events and possibly deliver some events in different ways in order to limit exposure to the virus.

We will be reviewing this situation (and monitoring updates from UK and Scottish Government as well as NHS advice) and will provide further updates as things evolve.

If you are registered for an event please be assured that we will let you know of cancellation with as much notice as possible. You can also check our Twitter feed for updates. If you are planning to attend a future event please do register via our Eventbrite pages so that we are able to inform you of changes and if and when things are rescheduled.

If you are looking for general information on the Novel coronavirus (Covid-19), visit the NHS online guide.

In the meantime, please look out for emails from efi@ed.ac.uk and check our social media channels. You can also sign up to our mailing list, if you are not already on it, for other updates on our events and activities.

If you need to get in touch with the EFI team please use our email address, efi@ed.ac.uk.
