Future Library
29th August 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM BST
Norway’s Future Library is a powerful gesture of hope for a world beyond our lifetime. Created by Scottish artist Katie Paterson in 2014, every year, for 100 years, an author writes a new text to be placed inside the library. Every text remains unread until 2114. Join Paterson and Future Library’s Anne Beate Hovind talking about the remarkable project with previous contributors Elif Shafak and Valeria Luiselli, then be first to find out the sensational new writer contributing to the Future Library in 2027.
Supported by Edinburgh Futures Institute.
