Headshot of Anna Votsi

Anna Votsi supports research proposals that respond to the Edinburgh Futures Institute’s strategic research priorities, working collaboratively with EFI-affiliated researchers, external partners, and other colleagues to respond to strategic competitive opportunities such as UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) calls. She does this by advising on funders and funding streams, articulating the link between the project and the Futures Institute in the context of university and wider strategies, advising on and supporting the design and framing of proposals, and enabling links with academic expertise. Through these mechanisms, Anna provides complimentary support, added capacity, and expert advice to researchers, to enable them to develop and submit interdisciplinary, challenge-led proposals.

Anna has worked in research proposal management and administration roles at the university since 2015. She has worked on many submissions that led to strategic initiatives, such as Creative Informatics and the Bridging Responsible AI Divides (BRAID) programme.
