Jade Gilhooly

Jade leads, coordinates and manages resources in the Edinburgh Futures Institute to ensure that all building visitors and users experience safe, reliable and consistently high-quality facilities services.  Jade is also responsible for the development and oversight of processes that safeguard against single points of failure, maximising the effectiveness and resourcefulness of the frontline service provision.

Jade has over twelve years experience managing the operations of both teaching and recreational facilities within the University of Edinburgh. Her hands-on experience in overseeing these facilities has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and nuances inherent in a buildings and facilities management role. She holds an honours degree in Marketing and Business from Abertay University, which has equipped her with a holistic understanding of business principles that she can apply to her current role.
