Jude Henderson is the Chief Operating Officer for the Edinburgh Futures Institute, leading the Institute’s professional services team in partnership with academic colleagues to develop and deliver innovative interdisciplinary capacity across all areas of activity. Jude was previously Chief Executive of the Federation of Scottish Theatre, the industry body for professional performing arts in Scotland; and Director of the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities. Her prior experience includes committee clerking in the Scottish Parliament, leading research policy and strategy development at the Scottish Funding Council for Further & Higher Education, and advising Scottish Government Ministers on higher education governance. She has recently stepped down as Chair of Zero Tolerance Scotland, the charity working to prevent men’s violence against women, and previously chaired Culture Counts, Scotland’s advocacy network of arts, heritage, and creative industries organisations.
