Edinburgh Futures Institute welcomed its largest intake of students to date during Welcome Week 2026, which took place on 14-18 September. Over 300 new students walked through our doors ready to start their learning journey.

Our Welcome Week programme included a Welcome Breakfast, an Essential Skills Session, and 13 separate Programme Welcomes to ensure our students feel as supported, inspired and connected as possible.

It was wonderful to meet all our new students and we wish them all the best in their academic journeys!
