Edinburgh Futures Institute welcomed its largest intake of students to date at the opening of Welcome Week 2026, taking place from 14-18 September.  

Edinburgh Futures Institute welcomed its largest intake of students to date at the opening of Welcome Week 2026, taking place from 14-18 September. Over 300 new students walked through our doors ready to start their learning journey.  

Our Welcome Week programme includes a Welcome Breakfast, an Essential Skills Session, and 13 separate Programme Welcomes, all to make sure our students feel as supported, inspired and connected as possible.

It was wonderful to meet all our new students and we wish them all the best in their academic journeys!
