[ap_column span=”4″]Awarded the British Entrepreneurial City of the year in 2016, Edinburgh is the cluster outside of London with the highest activity and potential for growth across key technology sectors such as VR, AI and data, and third for creative tech.
The Creative Informatics Partnership is one of nine AHRC clusters across the UK, designed to encourage collaboration between internationally-renowned creative industries and universities.
A new Policy and Evidence Centre for the sector led by global innovation foundation Nesta, with partners across the UK, will connect organisations in the creative industries, research communities, and policy-makers to develop independent evidence and analysis that can inform decision-making across the industry and underpin future policy decisions.
The Creative Informatics R&D Partnership will grow the Creative Industries Cluster in the Edinburgh city region, by meeting the demand for increasing data literacy and the ability to design with data. It will build new partnerships to co-create education, research, business development and policy work as a shared endeavour.
