Laura manages the development of Edinburgh Futures Institute’s digital building located at efi.ed.ac.uk.
She works closely with the communications and marketing team, alongside teams and colleagues across the institute and beyond, to understand and map strategic, content and functional requirements and translate these into digital reality. Laura currently works on all aspects of website development at EFI from information architecture, design and build to project management, training and support, analytics and SEO. She is a strong advocate of agile and co-creative approaches to development alongside continual improvement of systems and processes.
Laura has extensive experience in digital project management and creative production roles. She was a co-director of a design and digital agency for a decade, providing a range of services to third and public sector client organisations. Previous experience spans work across the creative industries in music and publishing, alongside events management. She holds a BA (Hons) in Media and Management.
