Likando sits in the Data-Led Methods and Research Technology team within Edinburgh Futures Institute’s (EFI) Innovation Services where she coordinates the events and training programmes delivered under the Centre for Data Culture & Society (CDCS). This includes administering and organising seminars, workshops, and larger events including the CDCS Annual Lecture. These initiatives contribute to team’s mission of promoting data-driven research and supporting communities of practice within the academic and wider communities.

Her experience spans multiple countries and covers areas ranging from graphic design to event management, aligning with the EFI’s commitment to nurturing an interdisciplinary, innovative and globally minded community. She holds an MA in Graphic Communication Design (Central Saint Martins) and a BFA in Communication Design (Parsons School of Design).

New Innovation Service

Edinburgh Futures Institute is developing a new Innovation Service to support partners, researchers and collaborators deliver challenge-led innovation. This new service brings together expertise and practice across the Institute and comprises of three new teams: the Futures and Design Team, the Collaborative Impact Team and the Data-led Methods and Research Technology Team.

Data-led Methods and Research Technology team

The Data-led Methods and Research Technology team builds capacity for data-led research and innovative digital research methods. This team also supports the Centre for Culture, Data and Society.
