Patricia manages the Edinburgh Futures Institute’s relationships with key stakeholders to meet the institute’s strategic objectives. She provides support and advice to the Director of EFI and other EFI colleagues on key stakeholder partnerships, particularly in the creative and culture sectors and with the local community. She leads the development and implementation of the institute’s culture and community strategy and, as an EFI Director, contributes to the overall strategic direction of the institute, including supporting the delivery of the City Region Deal outcomes as they relate to creative industries, tourism and festivals, and wider stakeholder engagement with community and cultural partners.

Patricia has worked in a number of engagement roles in the University, both in business development and in public engagement with science, engineering and digital arts. As Head of Stakeholder Relations in the College for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, she leads development of the College’s Social & Civic Responsibility Strategy and is a member of the management group of The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and the steering group for GENDER.ED.
