Anne Portrait

About Anne

Former nurse at RIE

Anne trained as a nurse in RIE in 1965-69, and later worked in the hospital, mostly in the department of Ophthalmology (currently – building 5a Nightingale Way). Anne’s portrait is taken on the main staircase in the Western end of the building. Those stairs were in place when the building was a hospital, and Anne walked many steps on them in her role as a nurse.
