Future
What a wonderful
future I had – all because
I started at the RIE – so
much to learn, so much
caring.
Wonderful to listen to all that was said – I learned a lot about a variety of experiences, of the contrast between training at the Royal in my days when we all ‘lived in’ – and those who did not do so.
My whole life before the day I was taken to start my student nurse day and as I knocked on the door of the PTS building in Melville Crescent my life thereafter – such a strong influence – RIE and my future life. Such a privilege. Also learning of life for those who, learning of lives so different from all I had experienced. Seeing, hearing of real life for others which would not normally be known.
