Centre for Future Infrastructure working with Scotland’s housing associations and local authorities developed a proposed retrofit roadmap through the Zero Emissions Social Housing Task Force (ZEST Report) which have been included in the Scottish Government strategy document ‘Achieving Net Zero in Social Housing’. 24% (660,000) of all Scottish housing is social housing and is key to underpinning so many communities. A major component to the ZEST report developed by the Centre for Future Infrastructure was the archetype methodology to accelerate and support mass retrofit of the housing stock.
