CFI awarded Edinburgh-Cornell Seed Funding Partnership

The Centre for Future Infrastructure (CFI) has been awarded seed funding through the Cornell-Edinburgh joint universities knowledge exchange partnership.

The Centre for Future Infrastructure (CFI) has been awarded seed funding through the Cornell-Edinburgh joint universities knowledge exchange partnership. Led by Professor Sean Smith Director of CFI at the Edinburgh Futures Institute and Professor Rick Geddes, Founding Director, Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy (CPIP) the project teams will partner in visioning future low-carbon transport and infrastructure, with a focus on long distance haulage.

The University of Edinburgh is a Cornell Global Hub partner university. Global Hubs are Cornell’s collaborative centres of engagement around the world. Hubs provide students and staff exciting opportunities for semester-long and short-term study abroad, field experience, participation in faculty-led research, curricular pathways and internships.
