CFI supported the development of the Scotland Excel £800 Million housing energy efficiency procurement framework. This new framework partners with Scotland’s 32 local authorities to advance energy efficiency across the social housing stock. CFI were invited by Scotland Excel and the Energy Skills Partnership to assist in the development of this new innovative procurement process. Incorporating key aims of wider geographic reach, more SME companies, inclusion of PAS2035 and other changes to building regulations CFI provided key recommendations in the framework design and bringing in key expertise in the development partnership. The Scotland Excel framework was launched in May 2022 and has since won two national Vibe awards both in Scotland and the UK for best partnership in procurement.
